Parkville Ward 4 Alderman
Fostering Growth While Preserving Parkville's Charm
Get InvolvedI’ve lived in Parkville for over 11 years in total, and 2.5 of those years in Ward 4 specifically. I chose to raise children here because of the sense of community and the opportunities Parkville offers.
Professionally, I work in financial technology, focusing on product management. My job requires me to dig deeply into a problem first, ensuring we understand it thoroughly, and then find practical solutions that truly solve the issue— not just ones that look good on paper.
I was appointed to represent Parkville’s Ward 4 in December, filling the seat of an outgoing alderman who won a seat on the county commission. Now, I’m running for re-election to continue serving our community.
Parkville has wonderful growth opportunities ahead. I’m committed to ensuring it remains a place developers want to invest in, and where families love to live. At the same time, I’m dedicated to preserving the unique charm that drew us all to Parkville in the first place.
Our city’s growth is one of its greatest opportunities. I want Parkville to remain a place developers are excited to invest in, and that families are proud to call home. By balancing new construction with community feedback, we can keep our city vibrant and prosperous without losing what makes it special.
I believe in limiting government intervention to what is truly necessary. If new ordinances or policies are needed, they must have a clear benefit and remain minimal in scope. We should give businesses and residents the freedom to thrive through market-driven solutions.
Parkville’s history and charm make it a magnet for both visitors and new residents. While we can embrace development and modern infrastructure, we must protect the character and small-town feel that define our community.
A new proposal in the city’s older area has generated fears about the use of eminent domain. I do not support taking property from business owners against their will. I believe we can address local needs with more targeted improvements, without infringing on individual property rights.
Ward 4 is a newer part of Parkville that includes an established upper middle-class neighborhood plus a mixed-use development featuring businesses, restaurants, apartments, and other residences. We have a demand for services that are already common in older parts of the city. I will work to ensure that Ward 4 continues to attract the businesses and amenities our residents desire—while preserving the safe, family-friendly environment we cherish.
Your support is critical to maintain the positive vision for Parkville’s future. Whether you’d like to volunteer, request a yard sign, share your ideas, or donate, I’d love to hear from you!
